The new Sanyo PLC-XF47 is capable of producing brightness of 15,000 ANSI lumens, yet it is able to project vivid pictures with a high contrast ratio of 2,000:1 without any washed-out effect. With this model, Sanyo aims to continue as a technology leader in high-power 3LCD projector.
To achieve brightness of 15,000 ANSI lumens, Sanyo uses inorganic material for the projector’s optical engine. The new inorganic LCD panels greatly reduce degradation caused by absorbing high level of UV light, thus doubling the lifespan of the projector and increase the brightness by 20%, compared to the current model.
To top it up, the new LCD panels were developed using advance material science to ensure almost 100% of the liquid crystals molecules were vertically aligned when in the power-off state. Together with Sanyo’s industrial proven advance optical polarization filters, the new Sanyo PLC-XF47 is therefore able to achieve a more optimal black level with high contrast ratio of 2,000:1. www.sanyo.sg
