Communications Specialties, Inc. (CSI) has announced
the introduction of the Fiberlink® 3620 Series of Composite Video and Stereo
Audio fibre optic extenders. The all-digital Fiberlink 3620 series transmits
high-quality composite video with a video bandwidth of 10 MHz per channel and
is compatible with NTSC, PAL or SECAM. The two audio channels may be user
configured for balanced or unbalanced inputs and outputs.
Compatibility with the Fiberlink Matrix 32x32 optical router
allows for complex system architectures. Fiberlink 3620 uses one single mode or
multimode fibre optic core and is available in both box and card versions. The
Fiberlink 3620 features a switch selectable audio output gain boost of +0 dB or
+6 dB and indicator lights for power, video and audio quickly reveal the units
state of operation.
“Composite video remains an important signal type in
many professional a/v applications and the Fiberlink 3620 Series directly
complements our already expansive line of VGA, DVI, 3G/HD/SD-SDI, Composite
Video, Component Video, S-Video, and other fibre optic extenders,” says Paul
Seiden, Director of Sales. The Fiberlink 3620 Series is ideally suited for
videoconferencing, digital signage, corporate a/v, broadcast and cable TV
applications. www.commspecial.com
