British microphone manufacturer Clockaudio is launching two new audio products which bring genuine design and operational benefits into the boardroom and conference environment: the new touch-sensitive Litetouch device, which enables users to see the status of on-table microphones at a glance, and the Retracta Series of retractable microphones for the boardroom table.

Comprising a dual-colour Halo ring and switch combination that can be used with all Clockaudio through-table products, the Litetouch allows users to identify easily the status of microphones, as well as mute the units for privacy. With no moving parts, the switch is touch-sensitive, so there are no clicking noises when switching from one status to another.  Both the switch and the Halo have been designed to operate remotely with all popular brands of electronic system control, so an integrator has complete freedom to assign function and LED colour.  Importantly, the Litetouch can be easily retrofitted to any Clockaudio through-table microphone product.

The Retracta Series of microphones features Clockaudio’s peerless boundary layer mics which can now be pressed down into the boardroom table when they are not in use, leaving a virtually flush-fit low profile.  A built-in mechanism allows the user to make the microphone disappear without having to physically remove it from the table. Simply pressing the top of the capsule downwards will lock the microphone flush with the surface of the table; pressing the head again will release the microphone back to its original position above the surface of the table.  The Retracta Series of mics are available in omni-directional and cardioid versions.  Engineered in high-quality brass with built-in shock-mount and RF filter, the standard finish is Satin Black or Nickel. www.clockaudio.com
