LG Establishes New Asia-Pacific Headquarters in Singapore

The Board of Directors of LG Electronics (LGE) has named Singapore as LG’s new Asia Regional HQ. The Asia Regional HQ will oversee LG’s Asian operations outside of Korea , including Oceania and South West Asia. Mr. Nam Young Woo, President & Regional CEO, will be in charge of the Asia Regional HQ with regional business management staff supporting service, human resource, supply chain operations and brand marketing. Singapore ’s pro-business environment, advanced communications and logistics infrastructure makes it a natural hub to base LG Electronics’ Asian operations. This, together with the injection of senior management and regional operational expertise, promises to significantly elevate LG’s business in Singapore and the region.” Thailand , Malaysia , Vietnam and Philippines . The new Asia Regional HQ, together with new senior management appointees, signifies LG’s efforts to take its business to the next level by becoming a more achievement-oriented organization based on operational excellence.
