wireless solutions to power its re-branding efforts to establish itself as the
preferred business meeting location for corporate executives on the move. The
technology upgrade at the re-branded Geek Terminal will provide mobile business
executives with convenient and secure access to integrated voice, video and
wireless networking for always-on connectivity and enhanced business
productivity, thereby extending the connectivity boundaries of the corporate

Implemented by Cisco-certified managed services
provider Superlnternet, the technology upgrade at Geek Terminal is anchored by
Cisco’s Smart Business Communications Systems, including Cisco® Unified IP
(Internet Protocol) Phones providing access to voice and video calls with
integrated firewall functionality and VPN connectivity. In the near future, the
phones will also be able to access the café menus and call billing with a touch
of the button. All round wireless access in the establishment will also be
powered by Cisco’s Aironet® 1250 Series Access Points that is certified to the
802.lln draft 2.0 standard.
Patrons and staff of Geek Terminal can also look
forward to added convenience at their fingertips with unique applications
developed by NexLabs, a Cisco-certified unified communications application
provider, made available on the Cisco Unified IP Phones. SMARTEssentials will
provide users with instant information through news services and information
feeds. SMARTDisp1ay also allows dynamic images to be displayed on the phones,
creating unique advertising opportunities for the establishment. In addition,
SMARTArchitect, a visual content management system, allows easy uploading of
images and creation of phone menus, without the need for programming.
