Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, recently opened its Digital Projection Asia office in Singapore. The office will serve as a sales and distribution hub to market, service and support DP products in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan and Vietnam. The team helming the office in Singapore have a combined projection industry experience of over 40 years and is headed by Gordon Tay as Vice President of DP Asia.

The opening of DP Asia underscores the company’s market expansion and provides a geographic complement to the DP China office, which was launched in 2007.

Nicholas Cottiss, the International Sales and Marketing Director of Digital Projection International stated, “We are extremely confident our range of precision displays will have a significant impact in this area of the world, so introducing our brand and extensive product line to the Asian market is long overdue. Cottiss continued, “Over a three year planning and preparation period, we sought and eventually found partners that possess the levels of commitment and experience that will enable Digital Projection Asia to meet the product and operational standards that our other offices represent. Gordon and his team fully understand what is required of a quality supplier, not only at the time of sale but for years to come in terms of training and partnership.”

Gordon Tay, Vice President of Digital Projection Asia, said, “I am honoured to be associated with Digital Projection, the company that is instrumental in the development and application of DLP technology. DPI’s extensive technical knowledge in display technology has enabled the company to develop cutting edge display solutions to meet the dynamic market requirements and stretch the technologies to its utmost limit.”

“The inception of Digital Projection Asia–Singapore as the hub for this region,” Tay continued, “means DPI can use the superb infrastructure of this dynamic area to continue forward. With the DP Asia team’s extensive regional exposure, networking and knowledge of the business dynamic in this region, coupled with the customer and partner-centric philosophy, I am confident that Digital Projection will swiftly gain the recognition long over-due in this region.”
